The St. Louis Society of Fire Protection Engineers held their 25th Annual Golf Tournament at The Falls Golf Course in St. Peters, MO. The Fire Sprinkler Alliance Team came in tied for second place !
The annual conference for the Fire Marshals Association of Missouri was held at Tan-Tar-A Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks July 10 - 12, 2017. The Metropolitan Fire Marshals Association sent three golfers to participate in this year's Firefighter Funeral Assistance Team's Annual Golf Outing. The golf was held at Old Hickory Golf Club on June 26, 2017. Golfers Melodee Hinkle, Dave Bruns and John LaVenture played on this year's team.
Shane Ray, President of the National Fire Sprinkler Association, was in St. Louis on May 23, 2017 for the Common Voices meeting. While he was here, he had the Fire Team USA bring in their burn trailer for a Side-By-Side Burn Demonstration. Robertson Fire Protection District was on hand to put out the unsprinklered fire.
The St. Louis Fire Sprinkler Alliance was proud to participate in this year's MABOI Golf Outing. The golf tournament was held at Bear Creek Golf Club in Wentzville.

The Boles Fire Protection District held their annual Safety Day at Station 3 on Highway M in Villa Ridge, Mo. April 2, 2016. 117 people attended the NFSA Coordinating NFPA 25 & 72 Seminar hosted by the Metropolitan Fire Marshals Association April 29, 2016 at Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 268 Training Center. Jason Webb and Art Black presented the class which was funded by a grant from the State of Missouri. Vendor sponsors also helped support the class.
