2018 MABOI Golf Tournament

The 2018 Missouri Association of Building Officials and Inspectors (MABOI) was held at Normandie Golf Club on Friday May 18.  St. Louis Fire Sprinkler Alliance workers Wally Miller and John LaVenture were joined by Retired Creve Coeur Fire Marshal Art Oestereich and Ron Chac with SPIRE.

Fire Sprinkler Save at St. Louis University

On Saturday, February 24, 2018, there was a fire at the 14 story SLU Marquette Tower West located at 3530 Laclede Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103. The fire originated in an electrical panel in a basement storage room. Two heads activated and put out the fire.  STL City Fire Dept responded.

Fire Sprinkler Save in St. Louis

Gateway Fire Protection responded to 5450 Brown Ave in the Union Seventy Complex in North St Louis. A boiler blew up at Balicor, which apparently recycles oil. Apparently, when the boiler blew, it pushed fire out into an area that had many chemicals. Four heads activated and put out the fire.
